The plates are for the BBÖ 1470.001 lokomotive model date approximately 1925-1926

Hi everyone,
I have to design some plates for a BBÖ locomotive
Could anyone help me identify and suggest which is the correct font for Austrian railway letters?
I would have identified the font from the Bahnscrift family but they don't seem exactly the same as those on the license plates in circulation
For example, the numbers 1 and 4 are not perfectly the same as those used on real machines.
Thanks in advance for your help !
See you soon
Beppe
Anyway....
I am always greatly admired by Michael's models and how he pays attention to all the details. I always follow your messages carefully trying to learn from what you do.
Thank you for what you propose and show us and which for me is an incentive to always move forward in search of "model perfection"
See you soon
Beppe
Good morning to all friends,
at the end of our work I send you the images of the model of the locomotive FS 476-025
ex KKstB series 80. I hope you like the model !
I absolutely have to thank my friend Fessor again for the help he gave me by providing me with the photographs that were used to make the model. Without him it would not have been possible to complete this model in detail.
The model was also implemented by adding the opening smoke chamber door and the boiler furnace hatch. If you like, let me know what you think and feel free to rise any question.
See you soon and the next model !

Beppe
Dear Sperrschuh,
I'll be at Pietrarsa Rail Museum in Naples this weekend from Thursday to Sunday and
I hope to take certainly more than one thousand pictures !
Regards
Beppe
Hi Jürgen,
the kit was made by a dear friend of mine on the basis of the very few drawings and photographs available and using the investment castings already available for the Italian model locos.
The original KKstB machine had in fact been Italianised after the First World War.
Then I introduced the modification of the smoke chamber and the boiler door, both of which can be opened.
Still missing several minor things that I hope to fix as soon as possible.
I hope to complete and finish it within a short time.
Beppe
Dearest friends,
It's been a while since my last 1670 model of which I have shown you some photos.
Now I'm almost at the end of the model of the FS 476-025 ex KKstB of the 80 series that the Austrian railways gave to Italy.
The model is very nice in my opinion, even if the information was scarce. I have to publicly thank my friend Fessor who gave me a very detailed photo shoot of the car kept in your Strasshof museum in Vienna. I owe it to his kindness and helpfulness that I finally managed to complete the model! Thanks Fesser!
As usual, I am attaching images of my step-by-step creation of the model. Now only its finishing and painting is missing followed by the final assembly.
Thank you, see you soon !
Beppe

Liebste Freunde,
Beppe
Dearest friends,
exactly 6 months have passed since I started the construction of the two Gerard models of the ÖBB 1670 locomotive
Now the job is done. I can assure you that it was particularly difficult, many times I was really demoralized by the multiple difficulties. I'd like to know if anyone else has made this model in the past and actually made it work with all four engines!
Mine finally works fine! And all four motors run smoothly.
As usual, in the end I discovered some errors too, but this is also part of our job. We are never perfect!
However, the solution seems good to me, what do you think?
I look forward to your comments!
But one thing I want to say: I really have to thank all of you for your precious help, especially my friend Fessor for all the images he sent me. Without him it would not have been possible to finish the two models.
See you soon and see you next time....
A warm greeting
Beppe

Liebste Freunde,
Meine funktioniert endlich einwandfrei!
Beppe
Dear Wuff,
please send me your e-mail address and I'll provide to you with the Gerard 399 pdf file with the instruction.

Liebe Forumsfreunde,
Beppe

Dear forum friends,
we have not heard from each other for several months but now we are at a good stage of the realization and I want to show you my two models of the ÖBB 1670 locomotive.
One is from a friend who had started the construction but then stopped I think due to the complexity. The second instead comes from a new kit never started I think due to lack of time.
I started by completely unsoldering the first kit using a hot air heater and then recovering all the components.
Then I moved on to cleaning and polishing the previously used parts.
So I started assembling the kit again.
The two kits were made in parallel in order to minimize time and to take advantage of all the experience.
Now I can offer you some photographs of what I have made and I hope to show you the finished and painted models as soon as possible.
The work was hard because I had to introduce substantial changes to the models that were designed 40 years ago.
I hope my changes help the models work properly.
The next step will be the sandblasting of everything I built in order to proceed with the painting.
I hope this will be of interest to you too.
See you soon !
Beppe

Hi dear friend,
not yet because I’m working on two versions of the ÖBB 1670 electrical locomotives and so until I’ll finish these models I can’t start with the 476 project.
I hope to start with this job at the end of the year… but you don't have to worry because as soon as I start the new job I will post all the photos of the model !
Ciao !
Beppe
